I’m a big fan of Revlon’s Super Lustrous lipsticks – I’ve tried & like the cremes, the mattes, and the shine formulas. All my Super Lustrous lipstick reviews are here. So, when I saw this Gucci Westman Spring 2014 display, my eyes went right to the lipsticks, and I was not disappointed. The four available shades are Brazilian Tan (brown/nude, creme finish), Ipanema Beach (appears to be a light ivory, pearl finish), Sultry Samba (hot pink, matte finish) and Carnival Spirit (orange, shine finish). Revlon has done a few collaborations with Marchesa over the past few months. In Fall 2013, they released a limited edition collection of nail appliques. They’re no longer available (unless you find them in a less-trafficked drugstore), but you can see all the designs on the Revlon website here.
Next, they released a collection of Marchesa – patterned beauty tools – a compact mirror, nail implements and files, brushes, and tweezers. The Revlon website says that these are limited edition, but at the moment some items are available to purchase on Ulta.com and drugstore.com. I’ve also seen them around at a couple CVS stores. Earlier, I posted about the new Revlon display I found with Color & Shine Super Lustrous Lipsticks – a new formula. I said I had purchased three of the lipsticks; but I liked them so much that after swatching, I went back and bought three more! (Revlon is 40% off at Rite Aid this week, which helps.)
