Tarte Adored Maracuja Divine Shine Lip Gloss Review, Swatches, Photos

Several weeks ago, I won Bloomin Beauty’s Spring Giveaway. I received several spring-y items, including the lovely Tarte Adored Amazonian Clay Blush (review).  Also included in the giveaway package was the Tarte Marjacuja Divine Shine Lip Gloss, also in the shade “Adored” – a sheer baby pink.

The lip gloss in packaged in a click-style applicator.  It has a button on the end to push to dispense the lipgloss. It took approximately 75 clicks to get the lipgloss to dispense the first time, but after that, it only takes 1-3 clicks to use the lipgloss.

Adored is very sheer – it doesn’t really show up on my lips as a color, but instead is a high quality clear gloss; very glossy and very comfortable to wear.  It is supposed to be a lip plumping gloss, and it has a slight minty scent and tingles just a little bit.  It doesn’t seem like something that would be a problem for most, but it’s something to be aware of if you have sensitive lips.

Overall, if you’re looking for a clear gloss and you either like or don’t mind click-pen style packaging, I think you’ll appreciate Tarte Adored lip gloss.  If you’re looking for something with a little more color, check out Bloomin Beauty’s swatches of some of the other shades.
