Jordana Made To Last Eyeliners

I am so behind right now – I have tons of awesome things to post about, but very little time (it turns out that planning a wedding takes a lot of energy – mine is in a week and a half!).  Today, I have swatches of two of Jordana’s new 12-Hour Made To Last eyeliner pencils – a gel-type eyeliner pencil – which were released quite recently. There are six shades (black, purple, brown, aqua, charcoal, and deep green) and I purchased two: the charcoal & the green.

Here’s the display, with the color names”

As you can see, they retail for $2.99 at my Walgreens, which tends to mark things up – they’re $2.49 each at both CherryCulture & at the Jordana website.   Although they are called “liquid eyeliner pencils,” they aren’t a liquid – they’re a gel-type pencil, like Milani Liquif’eyes & Prestige Total Intensity pencils. Like those pencils, these need to be sharpened – they are not automatic.

I think the swatches for these pretty much speak for themselves: on the left I have a single swipe, and on the right I have a built up swatch.   The pigmentation is great! They apply very smoothly, but they aren’t too soft, either.

I’ve worn each of these several times, and I am so happy to report that they last extremely well, both on my lids and on my waterline, and they do not smudge on me. They seem to be the same formula as Milani’s Liquif’eye pencils, just at a less expensive price point (Milani and Jordana are owned by the same company).

Overall, I would absolutely recommend these pencils! Inexpensive & high quality – what’s not to love?

Just on packaging alone, that aqua really looks like the aqua Milani has (like you said, parent company) and that makes me so much more inclined to get Jordana’s instead! Jade is a little darker than I would have expected it to be especially from the name but at least Charcoal is pretty!

    • It really does! BTW, I was trying to catch up on blogs today (still so behind!) but I did see your post about turning OCC Lip Tars into pencils, and it is so amazing! I’m totally going to try that sometime. I am super impressed by your skills!

You’re getting married?!? Congrats!:) Which do you prefer overall and for how long they last: these, Milani LiquifEye, Prestige Total Intensity, or Nyx Glide on pencils?:)

    • Thank you! I prefer the Prestige Total Intensity to the Milani Liquif’eyes (they last longer for me). I’m not sure exactly where the Jordana pencils fit in yet – I think they are the same as the Milani pencils, but since they’re so inexpensive I like them better 🙂 I haven’t tried the NYX Glide On pencils, so I’m not sure how they compare. Really though, with the Prestige/Milani/Jordana you can’t go wrong!
