In this post, I swatched 15 different foundations for you; I seem to have accumulated some more (mostly samples), so I have more swatches for you.
Guerlain Lingerie de Peau in 31 Ambre Pale & 02 Beige Clair: As I noted in my prior foundation swatch post, I love the finish of this one and have a bottle of 02, but it’s too pinky-peachy for me (my full review is here). The 01, 02, 03 series have beige undertones, and I need a foundation with yellow undertones. I got a sample from Sephora of 31, but it’s far too light for me. I think 32 would be a good match (the 30s all have yellow undertones), but unfortunately it’s an Asia-exclusive.
MAC Studio Sculpt in NW20 and NC20: I asked for samples of both of these at the MAC store when I was looking for a good full coverage, moisturizing foundation. I was matched to NW20, but suspected that NC20 would be a better match, and I was correct. I have yellowish undertones, but surface redness, which sometimes confuses people who are trying to match me to foundation. It’s very nice foundation; once I finish my sample I may buy a full size.
Wet n Wild Cover All Cream Foundation in 616 Fair/Light & 617 Light: I was suprised that I liked this foundation as much as I did – it’s a real bargain at $4, and feels like a more expensive foundation! Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for something inexpensive and full coverage. Full review here!

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation in Beige Ivory: I also picked up this sample when I was looking for a full coverage moisturizing foundation (my skin was pretty unhappy for a while earlier this winter!). I like it a lot; good match, nice texture.
Holika Holika Peach Girl BB Cream in 02: I like this a lot, but it’s not as good of a match for me or as natural looking as Missha’s Perfect BB Cream, so I’ve been neglecting it lately in favor of the Missha. Full review here; and if you want to purchase, I recommend the ebay seller rubyruby76.
Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in 21 & 23: I adore these; I’ve been wearing them (mixed together) almost every single day since I got them. I have the small travel sized tubes, but I’ll be purchasing the full size ones for sure! In fact, I think I might go buy them right now to allow for shipping time from Korea – I don’t want to run out! Full review here; and I recommend the same ebay seller.
Note: Both the Holika Holika and Missha BB Creams go on the skin with a greyish cast, and then in a few minutes warm up to better match my skintone. I left the swatches on my arm for a few minutes to better let them warm up to my skintone, but I don’t think that they fully changed color since they were not fully blended in.
I still have a couple foundation samples I didn’t manage to swatch, so I’m sure there will eventually be a third installment of this series!
