Stila Convertible Color Trio – Swatch of the Day

A little while ago, I redeemed some of my Birchbox points for this Stila Convertible Color Trio.  I feel sort of “meh” about it and have a backlog of more exciting products, so I don’t see myself doing a full review anytime soon – but since I couldn’t find swatches of all the shades when I was considering purchasing, I thought it would be a perfect Swatch of the Day post.

Here’s a closer look at the Convertible Color shades:

Per Birchbox, “Cherry Blossom is a bright girly pink, Lillium is a peachy pink, and Peony is a slighty darker rosy pink.”

I purchased my box by redeeming points from Birchbox.com – I pay for my own Birchbox, and one of the reasons why I like it is the points system; you can read more about my thoughts about Birchbox here.  This trio (which is labeled the warm trio; there’s also a cool trio) is also available with everyday free shipping from Nordstrom.com.

    I wish Stila Convertible Trios were available in stores. I’ve recently become interested in cream blushes, and have yet to pull the trigger on anything. I like the idea of a compact sampler palette.

    • I’m so behind on comments! Yeah, it looks like this isn’t available anywhere in store, but Nordstrom does have free ship & free no hassle returns if you decide you want to try it 🙂 I love their customer service.

        Thanks for the tip, Emi. I forgot to ask before — are these regular sized convertible pans, or are the same size as the Stila single eyeshadows?

        ps The Nordstrom website lists the palettes as:
        – Cool tones: Peony, Lillium, Cherry Blossom
        – Warm tones: Gerbera, Camellia, Honeysuckle

        • Oops, I got the cool/warm backwards! Thanks for the heads up 🙂

          I am not sure of the size of Stila single eyeshadows, but these are smaller than the regular size convertible pans – .07oz vs .15oz, about half the size.
