Revlon Berry Allure Super Lustrous Lipgloss

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while – I bought this lip gloss a while back (right when I spotted the display, which you can see here).  Revlon seems to have discontinued the older-style Super Lustrous lipglosses in the square tubes – I’ve seen them on clearance at multiple drugstores – and these are the replacement.  This isn’t just a repackaging either – per Nouveau Cheap, it’s a whole new formula.

Berry Allure

Berry Allure

Berry Allure is a sheer berry (as you can see). I have been wearing it frequently since I bought it – it’s very comfortable to wear, moisturizing and not sticky at all. Lasting power is pretty typical for a gloss; about 2-3 hours if I don’t eat or drink anything.   I would definitely recommend these glosses – note that they are permanent, so do wait for a good sale or coupon!

That’s too bad that they discontinued the original Super Lustrous glosses–it seems they were really popular! I only have one–Coral Reef–which I really like, so maybe I’ll swing by the drugstore and pick up another one tomorrow before they’re all gone. I do have one of these new glosses, but I can’t remember the shade and I’m too lazy to go check 😛 haha! Looks beautiful on you though so i can’t wait to give mine a try!

  • Love the sheerness to this! Looks incredibly pretty and versatile. Thanks for the review! xo

I was JUST at Walgreens and actually found the display with these new shades, was eyeing this color, and remembered you had blogged about it. Had to come home first and check your post, but definitely going to purchase this eventually. Love the shade!

Oh, no. I actually really like the old formula, color and packaging. The new one seems much sheerer.
