This is Part Two of my NYC Nail polish mega-swatch posts! Part One, which has swatches of 17 of the $1.99 Quick Dry polishes is here. This post has swatches of 12 of the $.99 Long Wear polish line. Several of these polishes are really excellent – beautiful colors and a great price.
You can see a list of all the available colors on the -->NYC website --> – 26 colors plus a clear.

Midtown Mimosa // Tudor City Teal // Skyline Blue
Midtown Mimosa is a yellow jelly (or perhaps crelly). Unfortunately it’s a bit streaky and hard to apply.
I adore Tudor City Teal; also a jelly/crelly, it is just a beautiful polish. Here it is on my nails:
Skyline Blue is a shimmer, it’s not one of my favorites.

Boat Basin // Lexington Lilac // Wine Bar
Boat Basin ties with Tudor City Teal for my favorite from this line! Here it is on the nail:
I have a comparison with some similar blues here.
Lexington Lilac and Wine Bar are both great quality and lovely.

Wine Bar // Plaza Plumberry // Big Apple Red // Red Velvet Rope // Times Square Tangerine
I included Wine Bar in this one again so you can see how it looks against the reds.
Plaza Plumberry is a bit difficult to work with – it’s gorgeous at one coat, but slightly streaky. No streaks at two coats, but then it looks almost black.
Big Apple Red is a true red; Red Velvet Rope is very similar but more orange; and Times Square Tangerine is a bright orange.

Broadway Burgundy // Rock The Party // Rock The Party over black
Broadway Burgundy is a red glitter – it’s labeled as a frost, but it clearly isn’t.
Rock The Party is a very, very sheer duochrome (and it’s not very duochrome, either). The left (or rather center) swatch is 3-4 coats, and the right most swatch is one coat over black. I wouldn’t recommend this one – I prefer Wet n Wild Gray’s Anatomy is very similar, just a bit more opaque,
