ELF Pink Passion Blush Review, Swatches, Photos

I’m traveling home today, so will still be slow with approving comments and replying to questions. Regular timing will resume tomorrow. Thank you for your patience!

Recently I’ve been on a blush kick, so when I saw this matte “Pink Passion” ELF blush at my local Target for only $3, I decided to pick it up.

I like ELF packaging generally, and this blush is no exception. It comes in a sturdy, functional black compact that looks more expensive than it actually is.

The blush is very smooth, and fairly pigmented, but it seems a little bit chalky to me. I’ve swatched it next to Tarte Adored, which isn’t chalky at all. You can see that the ELF shade is pink with a white base, while the Tarte shade is pink without the white base. This is why the ELF shade appears chalky.

When I applied ELF Pink Passion to my face, it looks okay – it’s a little bit too cool for me, but it works well enough. I can’t see myself reaching for it often. I think it would be a good choice for those with cool undertones and very fair skin, but everyone else should skip this shade.
