Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara

There’s been some buzz lately about the super-affordable Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara, so I decided that I’d buy it to check it out.  I’ve heard that it’s usually only $2.99, but my Walgreen’s was selling it for $3.99; still a great price for what turned out to be an awesome mascara! When I opened the tube (which was shrinkwrapped – yay for sealed drugstore packaging!), I was pleasantly surprised by the brush; it’s small and just the type of brush I tend to prefer if I’m going to use a more traditional-type mascara wand instead of a rubber one (I like both types).

To cut to the chase – I LOVE this mascara.  It is the most volumizing mascara I have ever tried, and it gives really great definition with no clumps at all.  It is not the most lengthening mascara ever (that would be Majolica Majorica Lash Expander Frame Plus, which I am planning to review eventually), but it still gives good length.

It is not waterproof (so it removes easily), but I don’t have any trouble with flaking or smudging.  Note that it is a fairly wet mascara, so it takes a couple seconds to dry; it’s possible to smear it before it fully dries.

I think the pictures really speak for themselves – this is a fantastic mascara, and a real drugstore gem!
