Spotted: Sinful Colors Sure Bet Display

I spotted a new Sinful Colors display at Walgreens a few days ago – called Sure Bet, and mostly consisting of existing colors. I’m actually about to hop on a plane, so I’ll just leave you with these bottle shots of the color names:

Lavendar // Exotic Green

Gogo Girl // Beverly Hills

Let’s Talk // Big Daddy

Let’s Meet // Why Not

Have you seen this display around yet? Anything catch your eye?

Dupe Alert: Sinful Colors Endless Blue & Nails, Inc. Baker St.

Purchased
Dupes - Swatches - Baker St - Endless Blue

Baker St. on the left, Endless Blue on the right

I think you can tell where I’m going with this post based on the photo.

So, I bought Sinful Colors Endless Blue from the new Sinful Colors Buff to Bright Collection (more information on that collection here). I bought it partly because I am loving blues right now, and partly because I was curious to see if it was a good dupe for Nails, Inc. Baker St. Note that Baker St. is also duped by Essie Butler Please and quite similar to Sally Hansen Pacific Blue, but the Sinful Colors is the least expensive of all.

Here’s another close up comparison, this time with flash:

Baker St // Endless Blue

In my opinion, they are excellent dupes; the only different I notice is that Nail, Inc. Baker St. dries to a satin / low-gloss finish and Sinful Colors Endless Blue dries to a high-gloss finish (both swatches are completely dry in the photo). Both have good formulas; I did find the Sinful Colors just a touch thicker than I prefer, so I thinned it just a little bit. It is useable as bought.

And finally, a quick swatch of Endless Blue on the nail:

Endless Blue

Overall, I would definitely recommend Endless Blue – both as a lovely polish in it’s own right, and as a $2 dupe for the more expensive Nails, Inc. Baker St.

*I purchased both products featured in this post.  Please see my disclosure policy for more information.

Spotted: Sinful Colors Buff to Bright Collection

I spotted yet another exciting display yesterday; Sinful Colors Buff to Bright.  As with most Sinful colors displays, it has a mix of limited edition and permanent shades. From left to right above, it includes:

  • Unicorn (permanent)
  • Nude (new / LE)
  • Cloud 9 (permanent)
  • Pistache (repromote / LE)
  • Genteel (repromote / LE)
  • Folly (permanent)
  • Endless Blue (repromote / LE)
  • Gogo Girl (permanent)

I figured out what is permanent / limited edition / repromoted / new via the Sinful Colors website and google; if I got anything wrong, please let me know in the comments!

Here are bottle shots of three of the four limited edition shades:

Genteel

Pistache

Nude

This final picture is more color – accurate than the previous three:

As for the fourth limited edition shade, Endless Blue, I purchased it; read more about it & see swatches here.

Sinful Colors Almost Famous / Paparazzi Collection Swatches & Photos

Sinful Colors In The Spotlight, Fantasy, Star Dust swatches

In The Spotlight // Fantasy // Star Dust

A few days ago I spotted and posted about a new limited edition drugstore collection, the Sinful Colors Almost Famous limited edition glitters, which I saw at Walgreens. Today, I saw the same collection at Rite Aid, but it is called the Paparazzi collection – Sinful Colors has done this before, and I checked the bottles – all the polishes are the same, just the display is different.  I purchased three shades, and I have swatches for you, plus information on the shades I didn’t buy.

First, here are the two displays to compare:

Sinful Colors Paparazzi – Rite Aid

Here are the three shades I purchased – In The Spotlight, Fantasy, and Star Dust.

I’ve swatched them alone and over black.

sinful colors in the spotlight swatch

In The Spotlight

In the Spotlight has large rainbow glitter and very fine green glitter in a clear base, but it almost appears to be a green base because of the glitter.

Fantasy

Fantasy has large rainbow glitter and small rainbow glitter – this one is my favorite.

Star Dust

Star Dust has large hot pink glitter and smallish purple glitter. It looks especially good over black.

There are five shades I did not purchase – two are multi-glitters:

sinful colors bombshell

Bombshell

Bombshell looks similar to In The Spotlight – I think it’s large rainbow glitters with small green glitters, but it’s hard to tell.

sinful colors show stopping

Show Stopping

Show Stopping seems like a pink version of the multi glitters – large rainbow glitters with small pink glitters; though again, I’m not sure.

Rounding out the collection are three solid-colors glitters – Popparazzi is a bright pinky-purple glitter, After Party is a blue glitter, and Lush Life is a turquoise glitter. I believe all three have both small and large glitter pieces.

Are you planning to pick up anything from this collection?

Spotted: Sinful Colors Almost Famous Collection

Just a quick post – I was at Walgreen’s with my father earlier, and spotted this new (I think) Sinful Colors display, the Almost Famous limited edition glitters.  I didn’t have time to take photos of the bottom of the bottles, so I have no additional information on the names of the shades, whether they are really new or repromotes, or anything like that. Keep an eye out for them and let me know if you have any information!

That is really all the information I have at this time – please chime in if you know anything else!

Update: Thank you to my lovely commenters! Per Mimi, the lighter pink is Show Stopping, the fuschia is Poparazzi, teal is Lush Life, blue is After Party and the purple with magenta is Star Dust.

Also, shortly after posting I saw this post by G. over at Nouveau Cheap – who actually posted before I did – with more information on the collection.  She also has some close up bottle shots, be sure to check them out!

Spotted: Sinful Colors Sugar Rush Display

Sinful Colors Sugar Rush - Display

Sinful Colors has released a new limited edition collection – I found this display, the Sugar Rush collection, at Walgreens yesterday.  I haven’t bought any of the shades yet, but if I see a display at Rite Aid I’ll buy some to swatch – per Nouveau Cheap, Rite Aid is having a buy-three Sinful nail polishes, get $3+UP.

Shade names:

Sinful Colors Sweet Tooth, Cotton Candy - Sugar Rush

Sweet Tooth, Cotton Candy

It would have made more sense to photograph the two purples together, but Sweet Tooth is the lighter, more pink-toned purple.  Cotton is the pink pictured in the display photo.

Sinful Color Sweet Nothing, Candy Coated - Sugar Rush

Sweet Nothing, Candy Coated

Sweet Nothing and Candy Coated are probably my favorite two shades from the collection.

Sinful Colors Unicorn, Orange Cream - Sugar Rush

Unicorn, Orange Cream

Unicorn is a nice yellow – I am not sure I can pull off yellow polish, but I always want to try!  I think it’s the only permanent shade in the display (thank you to the commenters who recognized it as a core shade!).

Sinful Colors Sugar Rush, Sugar n Spice

Sugar Rush, Sugar n Spice

There are two rows of Sugar Rush in the display above – there are not two similar blues. Sugar n Spice is not in the pictured display; there were two side by side displays, and Sugar n Spice was in the other one.

I believe all eight shades are new and limited edition – no core shades or repromotes.  Unicorn is a core shade, and I believe the rest of the shades are new limited editions for this collection. Please let me know if you recognize a shade and I’m wrong, and I’ll update the post!
