It’s only mid-January, but I saw some Valentine’s Day displays today, so I thought I’d put together a quick post on them so you’d know what to keep an eye out for. Additionally, all of the displays I saw were partially or fully made up of shades from the permanent lines, so it’s good to know what you don’t need to look out for!
I was really excited to see the Wet n Wild Be Mine display that you see above – I love the Wet n Wild Megalast lipsticks (I’ve reviewed several shades), and the Megalast nail polishes. However, it turns out that all the shades in the display are permanent – very disappointing! The lipstick shades are Think Pink, Dollhouse Pink, and Stoplight Red, and the nail polish shades are Candy-licious, I Red a Good Book, and Through the Grapevine.
The Sinful Colors display has, like most Sinful Colors displays, a mix of old and new shades. From left to right, we have:
- Queen of Beauty (core)
- Tantalize (new?)
- Truth or Dare (new?)
- Georgio (new?
- Gogo Girl (core)
- Sugar Sugar (core)
- Black on Black (core)
- Snow me White (core)
I purchased two shades – Truth or Dare and Georgio, and here are some quick swatch stick swatches:
And finally, I saw this Spoiled “Spoil Me” display – which again, consists entirely of shades from the Spoiled core line. I didn’t get the names of the shades, but they’re all creme finishes.
So – if you see these displays, you might want to stop by the Sinful Colors display, but you can skip the others, since they’re just repromoted core shades. And if you can’t find them, you’re not missing much!
