Spotted at CVS & A Preview

Coming soon: Many Wet n Wild Perfect Pout Lip Color swatches & reviews

I have been going to drugstore a lot lately in the hopes of finding the new L’oreal Shine Caresse glosses, which are YSL Glossy Stain dupes (that’s how I found the Walgreens Look Boutique I posted about), and today I hit the jackpot at CVS! Not only did I find the Shine Caresse gloss stains, I also found several other new drugstore products, some I had heard about and some I hadn’t.

Here are some of the things I spotted, and a preview of what’s coming up! Please leave a comment if there’s something you’d like to see swatched or reviewed sooner rather than later.

I saw a huge L’oreal display with new concealer pencils, eyeshadow palettes, Shine Caresse gloss stains, eyeshadow primer, new nail polish shades a new eyeliner, and two new mascaras.

I purchased four of the Shine Caresse glosses to swatch and review:

You can find my overview review here, and my swatches here.

I saw a display of Maybelline Volum’ Express Rocket Mascara and a display of Maybelline Master Duo liquid eyeliner:

I purchased the mascara in Very Black (waterproof) and the liquid liner in Navy Gleam (review):

I also saw some new-to-me L’oreal Lift blushes in an oddly empty display:

Some new Maybelline The Lifter Instant Age Rewind Foundation (I’m not exactly sure what’s in the front – it seems to say a primer in a powder?)

I saw some Essie nail strips, called “sleek sticks” – they appear to be gel nail polish strips, since they say they need to be UV cured. On closer examination, they are gel strips, but pre-cured – you do not need a lamp to use them.

You can see why I was overwhelmed by the new products!

The next day I went back & saw these additional new products:

Maybelline Metal Color Tattoos (I purchased all five – review here)

Lumene BB Cream

Kate Moss for Rimmel Matte Lipstick

I saw this display of Physician’s Formula BB cream at Rite Aid (review here):

I also went back to the Walgreens with the new Wet n Wild, and bought several more items to play with – I was most excited about the Perfect Pout lipsticks, as you can tell – I am really loving the formula thus far!  I also bought another Fergie eyeshadow quad to see if the first one was just a dud, or if the quality really is lacking; a Fergie highlighter, and another Mega Last liquid lipstick just so I can do a more thorough review.

More new Wet n Wild!

Again, let me know if there’s anything you want to see swatched right away, and I’ll do my best!
