Sinful Colors Swatches

Sinful Colors Swatches

Sinful Colors Swatches

In light of the Walgreens 99 cent Sinful Colors sale that’s going on this week, I though I would swatch all the Sinful Color nail polishes that I have! I actually picked up most of these at the sale this morning. Although I know most people prefer swatches on actual nails, I just have too many of these to swatch on the nail right now (and I also really like the manicure I’m wearing!) – so nail wheel swatches it is!

Sinful Colors Let's Meet, Clementine

Sinful Colors Let’s Meet, Clementine

This is three coats of Let’s Meet and two coats of Clementine. I bought both of these a while back, so I’m not sure if they’re permanent or not. Both are lovely and bright – perfect for summer! Let’s Meet is a shimmer and Clementine is a creme.

Sinful Colors All About You, Black on Black

Sinful Colors All About You, Black on Black

Sinful Colors All About You – 3 coats; then one coat over black; the black alone. The black is two coats. The black is nice and shiny, but requires two coats – my favorite blacks are one-coaters.  All About You is lovely, but a little bit thick.  These are both from the permanent line.

Sinful Colors Nirvana

Sinful Colors Nirvana

I’m pretty sure Nirvana is from the permanent line – I bought it a while back.  It required three coats.  It’s my favorite greige creme, really lovely and flattering.

Sinful Colors Lavender, Ocean Side, Rain Storm

Sinful Colors Lavender, Ocean Side, Rain Storm

I don’t know if these three blue and blurple cremes are limited edition or permanent, but I bought all three today so they should be available. I used two coats for each, but all really were just about opaque in one coat – and all are fantastic quality and lovely colors. I especially love Rain Storm.

Sinful Colors Winterberry, Slate

Sinful Colors Winterberry, Slate

Winterberry is limited edition, and I’m not sure about Slate – but again, I bought it today, so it should be around right now.  Winterberry is two coats, and Slate is three. Both are (as is clear from the picture I hope!) shimmers.

Sinful Colors Leap Flog, Rise and Shine, Mint Apple

Sinful Colors Leap Flog, Rise and Shine, Mint Apple

Leap Flog (creme), is limited edition but current available. I’m not sure about Rise and Shine – which I bought a while back – but I think I saw it in-store today. Mint Apple is permanent. Leap Flog dried to a glossy creme finish; Rise and Shine dried sort of satin (not glossy, but not quite matte), and Mint Apple is a shimmer.

I also have one hot pink creme, Boom Boom, that didn’t make it into the swatches – it’s swatched here.  I don’t know if it’s permanent.

Edit: I also have a flakie – Green Ocean – which is released each year around Saint Patrick’s day.  I did a terrible job collecting all my Sinful Colors polishes; I organize my polish by color & finish, not by brand! I don’t have a swatch of that one, but if you happen to see a stray bottle in store, I recommend picking it up – it’s lovely. Here’s a swatch post I found via google.

Sinful Colors nail polish is a fantastic value at the normal price of $1.99, and absolutely worth it at 99 cents! If you have a Walgreens near by, are you planning to pick any up this week?
