Today at CVS I found a display with the new Physician’s Formula nail polishes. They’re selling for about $10 for a set of three, which (like most PF items), seems overpriced to me. However, they had a $2 off coupon attached, and CVS has a $7 off of a $10 PF purchase this week, so I only paid around $1 for the set!
I bought the “Three Shades of Grey” set, which includes a light grey creme, purple-grey shimmer, and a silver metallic shade. The bottles are very small -they’re labeled as “Total .45 fl oz”, which means that each one is .15fl oz.
As you can see, the nail polishes snap together and snap apart. It seems a little gimmicky to me – why would I want to have my nail polish snapped together? But, the good news is the polish is quite nice! The grey creme was opaque in one coat; the other two were a little bit more sheer, but fine in two coats. Note that the polishes are not individually named. The following photo does not have topcoat.
I did my nails with the grey-purple shimmer today – the color is quite lovely, and varies significantly with the light, sometimes looking more purple, sometimes looking more grey. I don’t think I have anything quite like it! The following photo does have topcoat.
Overall, I these polishes are quite nice – worth buying during a sale!
